Municipal Natural Assets Initiative Reports on the Value of Natural Assets for Canadian Municipalities

The first summary report by the Municipal Natural Assets Initiative (MNAI) includes experiences of natural asset management in five Canadian municipalities. The report concludes that natural assets can provide the same level of stormwater management services as engineered assets in those municipalities. The natural solutions were also found to be more resilient under climate change scenarios.
