The UK Chancellor launched the Green Finance Institute in London, following one of the key recommendations of the Green Finance Taskforce. The new Institute will be funded by the City of London Corporation and the UK government. It aims to become the one-stop shop for climate science and capital. The Institute will bring together all of London's finance and insurance expertise and hopes to become a global leader in climate finance.
