The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) launched a dedicated facility to support the Argentinian government to mobilize private finance for infrastructure projects. The Flexible Risk Mitigation Facility will provide partial risk guarantees and political guarantees to financiers and investors that will take part in public–private partnerships in Argentinian infrastructure projects. The IDB provides USD 500 million for the facility.
