Share

The Sovereign ESG Data Portal, a new platform launched by the World Bank, is set to channel capital into sustainable development by increasing transparency (as well as the quality and scope of environmental, social and governance data for investors) at a country level.

Comprising over 17 themes, covering all 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) and integrating 67 indicators, the portal will provide investors with improved visibility and transparency on a wide range of ESG risks associated with their investments. Available to use at no cost, the database includes ESG criteria on natural and human capital, energy use, corruption, migration, emissions and much more. This data is available for download for all World Bank member countries.
