Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Factors Are Material Credit Risk for Fixed Income Investors

A new report by the World Bank Group and Japan's Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) suggests that Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors should be included in the overall credit risk analysis of fixed income investments. The report also illustrates how incorporating ESG is becoming part of the mainstream investment process and does not mean sacrificing financial returns.
